Quiet Team Thread Everyone must be hunting! Anyways I'm out for my 1st all day sit and the pre rutt should be starting. Scrapes started to show up last week. Got the right wind, sse let's see if DDtx4 shows up for a visit, I do need a mature doe too. Any good buck shows up I'm taking him if he's over 130. Wow Guess I'll talk to myself,LMAO, I thought it was going to be a great day, I rattled at 8:15 and right off the bat a spike comes in, then nothing till 2:30. What was I doing? Almost a sleep when I heard a branch snap ,I look to my left and a doe just snipped of a branch to eat. It was windy as all let loose, I was trying to stay warm and blew the opertunity to get us 50 points, mind ya ! The meat would have benifited me more ,LOL. That was it, I freshened some scrapes and got out of there, the pre rutt is slow up here. Back at er tomorrow, 11 hours on stand takes some getting used too,LOL. Rocky
Hey fellas sorry I haven't been on much but I'm in Illinois trying to get it done. I haven't had much luck on bucks but I did kill a doe a couple days ago. I will try and post a couple pics from my phone but if I can't get it to work then I'll just wait till I get home later this week.

Hey everyone! I've been out all day everyday for the passed week. Not much buck or doe activity... I'm not going to lie getting a little frustrated but that's hunting! I'm still bouncing back and forth between here and Kentucky pretty much every other weekend. Getting some better trail cam pics down south. Unfortunately they are crossing the property line just before sunrise or after sunset. One of these days hopefully they will change their time up a little bit. Good luck everyone!
Got to the stand late this afternoon after movin a stand and checking some cameras at 3:00. This buck came through crusin at 3:30. I hit him high and he dropped 15yds from my stand. Another follow up shot and he was done in less than 2 minutes. I'll have a score in the morning and will post to the scoring thread tomorrow evening.
buckeyehntr5 Congrats on the big bodied buck, great set of antlers as well, wo ho, should put us back in contention with him entered. Saturday can't come soon enough for me, the start of 8 sun up to sun down sits. Can't wait. Cold spell coming in for the weekend also.
