I don't know about you guys, but I like to get out and settled for my time with nature before the sun is up. As the creatures awaken, I am already there waiting. For this type of hunting, I need a good flashlight and my old faithful recently took a turn for the worst. I picked up the Cree LED Flashlight to replace the old. It seemed like a good deal and I liked the extra feature it had.

When I recieved it, it came in a heavy duty box. I have never seen one with a flashlight, but I like it because I will keep the flashlight until it kicks the dust. The housing seems to be made of a very durable material. The 500 Lumens keep everything bright. Even better, it doesn't seem to need to be charged much at all, so battery is strong.

The only real complaint I have for this, the paint job. Although, I love the camo look, I don't see the need for it on a flashlight. Fortunately, it doesn't effect the use at all for me.

That camo is fugly but the light looks okay. I love camo but some things it's just a bad idea. If you ever drop things like that you'd be hard pressed to ever find it. Almost bought a camo billfold once and thought better of it, I have enough trouble seeing and keeping track of my black one, lol.

I got one of the Cree's off eBay last year. The thing is bright and was a steal at 14.99$ shipped.

I personally don't like using white light to get in and out of the stand.

I use a Cabelas headlamp that has 4 colors. White, green, blue and red. Green doesn't seem to bother the critters as bad and there is a lot less glare unless it's really rainy and wet. I rarely use red or blue and use white around the vehicle and around the house. I love that light wish I had one for the house and each vehicle. But they are kind of spendy

I have quite a few of the ebay cree's, including that same camo one, i think it's my favorite so far besides my adjustable focus that chit the bed on me over the summer, it's replacement is bogus although it looked the same :(
I also have a green beam cree that i use for into the stand.

I'll also add to watch those cheap single/double chargers they supply, they burn up the batteries.
I grabbed an I4 Intellicharger from ebay too, and my batteries are lasting much longer.....

I went got into flashlights back in the day. I learned there is a lot more to them then just the bulb. The reflector is every bit as important. I always hit the candlepower forums when I want good feedback on lights. Seems like a good deal if you are looking for a budget flash light.

I buy mostly foursevens, fenix, and eagletac flash lights these days.

Good info there... For example you can't go wrong with most fenix for the money
