Thats only 7 minutes from my house. I better find my ear muffs, I don't want to hear what happens over there. I don't think I can handle the sounds of disappointment
I rearranged our bedroom and she really enjoyed that, she also mentioned it in the past. Try and keep and listen for something small she wants but would never do or buy herself.
Nice list Andrew - it really is the little things...I know I could always be better. I try to drop in with lunch unexpected a few times per month (she just went back to teaching this year which means most days its school lunch - yikes) Never let your wife get her own gas...run an errand once/week in her car and fill it up/wash/etc. I would say in our house back rubs would be #1 on her list though...
I do 99% of all the housework ,cooking, cleaning, laundry and yard work..she is pretty spoiled.... I also treat her like a queen and open doors for her Chivalry is not dead at my house..
Yesterday my wife needed to go into her office and catch up on paperwork after we spent a week in Cancun. I spent the entire day doing all of our laundry and putting it away. Cleaned the house and went through all the mail. Since it was also National Margarita Day, I handed her one as she walked in the door at 5pm. She banged me like a screen door in a tornado.
well darn I was going to tell you how awesome the testosterone injections and cialis were working...lol
Walk up to her face her take both of hands in yours, look her in the eye and tell her how much she means to you and how much you love her... you can also do what I do sometimes do all above and them bow your head and say a prayer out loud thanking GOD for your beautiful wife... if that does not make her melt nothing will
When we decided we were going to move to utah, I jokingly told my husband I wanted a Tikka in 300 win mag. Lol and behold, he bought me the Tikka and a vx 3l scope. I packed and drove pretty much everything we owned from central illinois to utah, so it was his guy way of saying thanks. He also packs out elk and stuff for me.
It's not so what you buy or where you take them to dinner....it's what you say that means more to them then anything. I tell my wife how much I love at least 20 times a day.... sure they like to get stuff...who doesn't? but in the end that is just stuff...
