Haven't been posting as much lately, been busy living life off the inter webs for a while. Sitting here on the back porch "studying" with a 6 pack of Shock Top, Old Crow Medicine Wheel blaring, and a 79* day in FEBRUARY! what is the deal with this year? Even back home in Kentucky it was weird, I wore basketball shorts and a tshirt to the duck blind one weekend, lol.

Has old man winter been killin you guys up north this year or have you had a 2 month jump on spring as we have?

It's been a wussy winter for sure. We did get about 5-6 inches of snow yesterday, and it looks like we could get hit sunday with a blast.

Honestly, I love winter. I wish we'd get 2' of snow this weekend. Haven't hit the trails with the sleds this year, just been messing around on the lake.

Low snow is bad for business too.

Been terrible warm here in Virginia too. We got about 10 inches of snow on Sunday and it was gone by Tuesday.

Keep your hopes up for this weekend, a buddy of mine was up near brainerd today and said he saw a groomer out. If we get hit this weekend like we are suppose to I will be heading up this Wednesday to spend the spring break on the sleds!!

Our snow is virtually gone. However, this morning at 5:30 I heard the snow plow go by and saw his flashing lights through the blinds. I knew they were suppose to get snow just north of us, like 5 or 6 inches. So I said, crap, I got to plow the driveway. I got up just as the plow came back up the road in the other direction. I looked out to find "AT MOST" a half to 3 quarters of an inch.... and these fools are wasting money plowing and sanding. I know what it is, these yahoos at the town barn just use any excuse to jump in the plow and spread some sand. It's overtime and time and a half or double time on weekends. They've done this several times this year. By the time I got dressed and had eaten breakfast my driveway had melted off.
