Crazy weather...everybody safe?

Some crazy weather in the upper midwest today. Confirmed tornados in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana so far. The tornado sirens here were going off for about an hour earlier today. I haven't heard if there were any confirmed touchdowns. Looks like eastern Ohio could be in for some interesting weather at the moment.

Everybody safe so far? Not the weather we expect in late October around here.

We lost power for several hours this morning. (No coffee!!!)
other than that and needing to retrieve my fish barrels from the nearby fields. It's good here. Sorry to hear some folks got hit bad.

 

Windy as heck here with hard rain but still alive.

 

It doesn't look like its going to be as bad as you guys up there are getting it, but we are expecting severe thunderstorms and high winds down here in the GA/TN area. Bad weather seems to be all over right now.

Wind blew pretty good here around 4 am but no damage that I noticed leaving for work.

 

I just looked and Eastern Ohio and Western PA is now in a tornado warning, so keep an eye to the sky.

 

just drove past a down line in libertyville on 137 near 21... was pumpin so much voltage the pavement had caught fire...

 

I slept through everything here.... I think we just had a good bit of rain and heavy winds though.

 

It was bad here starting around 6:30. There are some downed limbs but nothing major to report.

It hasn't got here yet... We have had 15-25mph winds all day but nothing serious yet. Looking at the "future" radar on weather.com the nastiest of it should miss us just to the North.

 

Looks like that stuff is heading my way. They're calling for strong-severe storms here tonight. Good news is, its bringing the cold air behind it for the end of the week.

I just drove thru it on the way home. I swear it was like real life twister, I was waiting for a cow to blow across the road.
Just looks like some minor power outages around the Pittsburgh area though.

 

Ended up having some tornado activity down this way yesterday evening with bad storms most of the night. It is suppose to be moving out today though with colder temps following.
