Well, straight from the long winter now comes the spring that just won't get going. Seems like it's rain and only in the 40's for a high 3-4 days of the week.

This is really putting me behind on my scouting and stand work. This is also starting to effect the farm planting as I read today that only 8% of the total crop is planted compared to 56% last year and a 5 year average of 26%.

We need some dry warmer days to stick around for a week to let things dry out

Is this a isolated to the mid-west or is this happening other places?

We are in the middle of a 2 month long drought, and highs are reaching the 90s everyday here. Spring came and went awhile ago in the South.

So where is that happy medium spot where it's 65-70 deg everyday? ;)

I would be absolutely miserable in that constent heat and would take the cold over that anyday. Having said that, it sure would be nice if we could get some decent weather to make it pleasant to get outside for more than 2 months out of the year.

Yeah we skipped spring here in GA too. We've had very few days of highs in the 60-70 range. It went from 40s to 80s in about a week (seems that way at least).
