What a crappy season. Been out over a dozen times since opening and the only think I have seen is the same yearling twice. Have been finding rubs but other than that my season has been dry.

I hear yearlings are tender. Crappy season just went to Happy Season.

I'm having the same results. Keep your head up, things are going to start picking up. Maybe you need to reevaluate where you are sitting?

At least your getting some exercise, fresh air, and peace and quiet. Congrats on your deer.

I've been pretty mobile this year. Im thinking this area is getting over pressured by other hunters. I hunt public land and this year there has been an abundance of others out there hunting.

Im a public dude too. Last year i went out 10 times before i saw anything, this year i been out out 4 and no back straps yet. Try a weekday hunt maybe less people walking around. Get in early and let people push deer to you. Keep at it.......quiting is not an option :)
