U wouldn't know a 5 poundish bass if it jumped in your boat! :bash: :d Sagging belly, 20 inchesh fish, maybe 22....The crappie is pushing 17 inches....depending on how thick it is.... 3 may be a bit high.....but I doubt it.

Which is my point exactly. That IS a big crappie! That's a camera phone pic, and a small one at that. That fish goes shoulder to shoulder on Coop.......Yeah ok, it's a bit in front of him, so it's not quite shoulder to shoulder.......That's a big freakin crappie. Maybe 15 or 16 but if I'm only off by an inch or so from a camera phone picture, hell......I'll take that any day.

Yer ass huh? U don't think that qualifies as a big crappie? I'll admit it may not quite make 17, but it's over 15.....and any way you fillet it, that's one big damn crappie.

Lol!! It's definitely a nice crappie but IMO It's far from 17 Inches. 14 Inch tops I'd say.:d Who knows though, pictures are deceiving.

Unless BloodCrik is holding that crappy, I don't think it would hit 15"... Still by no means a small crappie.

The bass is anywhere from 3.75-4.50lbs This guy weighed 3lb 2oz :

For reference, this fish weighed 32 lb 15 oz. :d

BTW, I see no crappie anywhere close to 3, looks like it COULD approach 2 imo.

:busted: That gaff is tied off above the picture. :d

I tried holding one like that with a 40+ lber later that summer, didn't work out. That fish beat me to death pullin it in the boat.

That crappie is pretty darn large, especially for post spawn. How often you fishing at your pond up there? It'd be my morning wakeup routine.
