Coyotes trying to kill a fawn

    no coyotes where i hunt yet but i predict that within a couple years they will cross a bridge to long island and spread the deer are overpopulated with no predators here but people

    I love bassett hounds. I cant believe that yours killed a coyote. Mine would probably just want to play with it and then sleep lol. Great dogs and very loyal!

    In South Carolina the Department of Natural Resources claims the deer herd is down 25 percent over 10 years due to the coyotes. They loosened restrictions on coyote killing, allowing a light and night hunting with 22 calibers. A lot of people think the DNR is the one who brought the coyotes in the state because of the insurance companies complaining about car/deer accidents, and now they are out of control. I don’t know how true this accusation is but everybody likes to take a shot at the government when they can. :whip:

    I hate yotes and wolves, both kill a ton of domestic dogs.

    i say shoot all you can! just a pest that of no use to me. had one come up to the house little while back n got into it with my rott... well rott had one small bite mark barely bleeding and there was enough blood to have gutted a yote. i love my guard dog! i catch one out here again or near the stand i'll put an arrow in him.
