Coyotes, the fawn, and the bucks

    Waited a whole month to check trail cams and was excited to go out to the 100 acre farm to see what pics we had. One camera showed several good bucks which I was pumped for.

    The day before these were taken the farmer went for a walk with his small dog and the dog was attacked by two of the coyotes. He had to beat them off with a stick. So yesterday I grabbed a 30'06 and decided to try a morning hunt. Unfortunately none of them came out...but what did come out was awesome!

    You never know what'll happen when you go into the woods. It's very much like life. Some days the coyotes are after you and other days you get to witness something beautiful and majestic. It reminds me of Philippians 4:11-13: " I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

    Wow those are some aggressive yotes! Get you a call and go get those killing machines.

    Perfectly stated. Although I've had more of a pack of hungry wolves that were after me. It's taken faith and hard work to fend them off but for now they're at bay. Nice bucks. Hope you connect this fall.

    That's pretty cool getting video of those bucks! Get rid of those coyotes

    That buck with the split bow is a cool looking g deer.

    People here have had a lot of problems with coyotes killing small dogs. They are very agressive towards domestic dogs. If legal give a night hunt a try. Fawn in distress call is the ticket right now.

    Very nice bucks, but yes, time to do some coyote hunting.

    its always time to kill some yotes but what a great sight to see some nice summer bucks!

    We're having yote problems as well... Seen my first coydog two years ago... That scared me... It was bigger than the regular yotes... I have enlisted a friend of mine who hunts and traps for pelts who is going to help with em... You have some really nice bucks... Good luck with your hunt!!!
