I just got off the phone with my main hunting partner. He works with a guy who also bowhunts.

Yesterday he stuck a doe...he waited 30 minutes...climbed down...tracked her about 100 yards and she had already been devoured by coyotes.

We didn't even have yotes a few short years ago.

I'm looking to start a new hobby.

Invest in a nice dying rabbit call or any other dying varmint call. Works excellent in tricking coyotes into coming in close. They are stupid when you put a nice little rabbit in front of them

I'm going to get one of those lil machines with the tail that flops around and squeals like a rabbit.

Most likely won't get after the yotes till 2012.

Dying rabbit call and a .243 is what I use.

So lucky to have never had that problem. But we have yotes for sure, I hope to nail some this winter!
