Tu-shay. I can admit when I'm wrong and I am. Did not see that part of the rules.

J87Harris It won't stop me from shooting a coyote with my bow !!!!! Its all about Intent according to the law. As long as your original intent is deer hunt you can still legally shoot a coyote while deer hunting with the same legal weapon to kill deer with. Coyote specific hunting is closed during deer firearm seasons. I had a few coyotes circling me all morning but couldn't get one in range or a clear enough shot. I thought of bringing a small call with me. I would wait it out a while deer hunting first and if you see a coyote at a distance a call could help bring it in. Id start low volume for sure to get its attention. Beware the yotes will circle downwind though when you normally call.
