this is not a place to put this, but is am wondering if there is any trappers or some one that could give me a little input on what i might get money wise on a coyote i shot a couple of days ago. wisconsin 30 pound female , theres a patch of fur on the back of the neck that is( slittly grown back,(missing) and i shot it a day after a rain storm so the fur is a little matted, i tryed to comb it but its still like that, i was hoping i could get at least 10 or 15 bucks.

I got $22 for a nice, not great coyote that wasn't skinned. I've heard of a couple people getting $35. Those were big and really nice though.

It mainly depends on the fur. If it is maingy or smells or has some missing. I sold one skinned for five bucks and another for fifteen. Two others i shot they didn't even want to buy.

Wash the hide with shampoo and hang to dry in front of a fan. That should get any dirt and smell off the hide. The price that you get for it all depends on the size, rub marks/missing hair, and any holes in the hiide. I don't know what prices are like in your area, but around here I am guessing that hide would go between $25-$30.
