    Steve....

I've never disliked the Vikes. Hell I had a vikes jacket once (as a kid). And.....I LOVED Fran Tarkenton.

    But Favre turns my stomach.

    Again...nothing against "you guys".

No doubt they didn't play their best game but I believe the Vikes D line deserves allot more credit then what's being giving here. I know what your feeling though Jason. I've been heart broking by more sports teams from Mn then I care to list. Best of luck next season to your Boys. They are by no means a bad team. Personally I think they are one offensive weapon away from being that super power. Someone like a Harvin.

Don't worry Jeff. It's just sports anyway. Speaking of Tarkenton, I was a tad to young to follow the guy but he was one of the greats no doubt. He hates Favre too I guess. :D

So I take it you are a levis man and not Wrangler?;)

If Viking defense plays that well next week, you are stuck with him in the superbowl!!!!

I'll stick by my wish for Brett and the Vikes to win the Super Bowl by 40. Hell, he's the only reason I watched any NFL games this year.

Sooner they lose.....the sooner he can move on with his new career.

I'm hoping to see Brett on a future episode of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.....as he battles a bad case of attention withdrawls.

Only thing that would make the show better.....is if Calipari was rooming with him.

wow....the Vikes kicked our ass! We got out coached, we got dominated on both sides of the line..and Romo bless his heart, well, he choked..I feel bad for him...he's such a likeable guy...but he just can't understand that he can't will things to happen..props to the Vikes organization, however, and Im gonna take some heat for this, but I didn't like the TD pass on 4 and 3 with 1:55 left in the game when you are ahead 27-3...just seemed like they were trying spit in the face of the Cowboys...but not crying over spilled milk, either way we got our ass kicked, Vikes are a better team..

I agree, however, he did turn the ball over 4 times today!! You just can't do that and be considered a great QB in this league...I love Dallas and still pleased with the season over all, we met our match today and the Vikes D line was just awesome...

Well some of Minnesota fans on the radio afterward were stating why also. I personally as a coach (which I am not) would go until the bell in a playoff game. If you can't stop us too bad, if you can run up points on us too bad for us. It does not matter to me if we lose by 7 or lose by 40 either way we lose. It's also about sending a message to who you are playing next that we play until the clock hits zero. I am not so sure about being out coached. Childress hardly out coaches anyone.

Tribal, I don't want to come off like a baby. I understand this is the NFL and these are grown men, I just didn't see the point going to the end zone in the air...I mean if they score by a run or a short pass then so be it, but to go to the end zone on 4th and 3 when they could have kicked a field goal?? it was a statement. but it can also bite them in the ass as well...but either way, doesn't matter, Vikes are a better team and Im not really that upset about the TD, just thought it was kind of tacky and if dallas would have done I still feel that way..

    Come on man....

This is the NFL playoffs, the biggest stage in professional football. If you cant stop a team from scoring then what in the hell are you doing IN THE PLAYOFFS? :D

I just laughed at how easily the Vikings won that game.

And Romo like-able? Not so much personally. Id take a Favre, Rivers, Rodgers, Warner over him any day in the "like-able" category.

Yo Jeff, I wouldnt bet too much on Favre being done whether or not he loses this next game or not ;)

    Jeff/GMATT,

I have a question for you.

How do you feel about Micheal Jordan?

    *Tar Heel ;)
    *Retired 3 times
*Holds NBA Statistical records and like Favre, has the 2nd most MVP's and was one of if not THE best of his generation.
    *The most advertised athlete EVER
*Ran up the score and beat opponents when they were down
    *Shaky private life

Just sitting here i came up with 5 similarities. Do you think hes a prima-donna crybaby loser as well?

Im just curious if its a standard, or a "personal" thing, this Brett Favre hatred :D

Or do you just hate him because i idolize him ;)

I have no idea. But, based on recent history, I'm betting on tears being shed (by Brett) on TV, either way.

This isn't gonna bolster your side of the argument. I'm FAR from a UNC fan, VERY far.

But............... Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player that's ever played. He's nowhere near the sniveling crybaby Brett is. Then again....neither is Perez Hilton.

You're a Favre fan, Siman? Who'da thunk it?

Yep the Boys really stunk it up. They plain and simply got outplayed. The Vikings were the better team. Oh well... they made some positive steps for the future.

Jeff, I have the same attitude as you. However, I think we should want him to win it all now. He came back to win one. I really think if he wins it this year he is done. What better way and time to end his prima donna career?
As far as that play goes? Nobody is going to make a huge deal out of it, but it was bush league. Say what you want sending message, stop us if you don't like it blah blah blah... bottom line it was a lack of class and sportsmanship. The only reason for it was Brett and his 4 TD passes. Hell Dallas was trying to run the clock out when they had the ball. Dive plays up the middle to keep the clock going. The team that's up by 30 is going to throw a 30 yard TD pass on 4th and 3? Uncalled for.
