They had me worried but they actually showed and played against a very talented Houston Texans team. Hopefully they will continue to perform and execute as well as they did yesterday. Let the smack talking begin I guess. I am not from Dallas but my Dad has always pulled for them so naturally I do too.
Yeah. I just hope they don't get content and think everything is good again. I'm still trying to figure out how they lost to the Redskins.
Before St. Louis brought in the Lambs, I was a Cowboy fan. Aikman, Smith, and Irving were a blast for a kid to watch. I still root for them and they are probably my 2nd favorite team. They still have a lot of problems to get straight as the season goes on. I have a feeling this will be Wade Phillips last in Dallas.
Where are the Romo haters after the game he had Sunday??? Come on and show your faces. Fair weather Dallas fans.......
I've said it before and I'll say it again........It isn't Romo, it's Garrett! Anyway, I was happy to see them win that one. It shut all of those damn Houston fans up!
Ding Ding Ding.... The Washington game was lost on 2 plays, one of which was a call from Garrett which is by far the worst bone-head play call of the year.... the other is an O-Lineman who was only in the game due to injury. I think we finally saw the true Dallas team on Sunday. I HOPE Jason Garrett realized that running the ball helps the passing game, which in turn causes the D to play off and opens up the run again. IF (and its a big IF), Dallas stays healthy and Garrett keeps calling plays for production instead of trying to boost his ego, Dallas will be favored to come out of the NFC...even after an 0-2 start. The only other team that is close talent wise is the Packers, and they have problems (they can't run the ball, injuries, and a shaky O-Line). On a side note.... Dez Bryant is going to be an absolute BEAST... just ordered his jersey yesterday. He reminds me of a young (and dare I say...better) version of Terrell Owens....with hands like Larry Fitzgerald.
