Noticed a small deer hanging out by the farm all winter. It is hanging out with the 4 small cows. Also seen it eating the bushes in front of the one house and bedding next to the shop. It isnt afraid of us really, just runs a short distance away.

It drinks alot from the heated water tank and we got a round bale of hay/salt lick station out there for the cows. We also drag trees near the barn for firewood and leave some tops. There is a shelter too that my father in law says the deer goes into with the cows on the cold nights.

Just sorta sad to see with this harsh winter, but the deer has made it this far living with the cows.

You could write cow on its side during deer season I guess.

haha, ya would be nice to mark it somehow and leave it off limits. I know all the surrounding neighbors so it would get a free pass for sure.

thats pretty cool. Be cool if you could get video of it interacting with the cows. And maybe it will teach its deer friend to move slowly like the cattle
