I have a feeling some IL public lands will be opening up. Maybe in limited fashion at some locations and things like playgrounds and picnic areas will remained closed. Campgrounds coyod probably open by cutting capacity and spacing sites out.

Hopefully some site specific turkey hunters can get out.

    Indiana DNR COVID-19 Response ............. as of 4-13-20 ............

    Outdoor activities
Outdoor activities, and travel to and from those activities, are still permitted. These include hiking, fishing, boating, birding, hunting, bicycle riding (on paved trails and roads) and geocaching. Bike use (on unpaved trails) and horseback riding on DNR properties is temporarily suspended. On DNR properties, some services and trails are closed. See below for list.

Hoosiers should follow posted restrictions and practice social distancing.

we are lucky here ....... so far ....... ;0) ... my turkey draw hunt is the end of the month, and I'll start fishin' for White Bass (Silvers) shortly below the dams on the Tippecanoe (Monticello) ...so, it looks like things will be ok as the Gov. mull's relaxing other restrictions and gets this state back to work ... luckily, I am still working as I am considered 'essential' .. Illinois and Pritzker is a whole different animal ... thats how dems can ruin a state ...

Mentioned elsewhere, but other than a few political jabs, I'm somewhat surprised with Pritzkers handling of this. I feared big time overreach which never happened. He kept gun shops open which surprised me

Still won't vote for him though, and definitely not trusting the financial recovery options coming.

Closing DNR sites statewide was a bad call though

actually, I should have said thats how the dems and CHICAGO (Cook and Lake counties) can ruin a state ... get out of the Chicago area and Illinois is a great state considering the politics it is governed by .... Good Luck over there ...
