I have a few covert trail camera's, the Mp-E5 models and a couple MP8 models. Recently while using my MP-E5 model cameras I am running a 16gb card @2 bursts per 30 seconds and the cameras are only taking 999 pictures and then stopping. I know a 16gb card can handle WAY more pictures than that and ive went over the settings and from what it looks like I have everything set up the way it should be.. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I would go ahead and switch out the sd card for a new one or a different one. Sometimes the card will get damaged and lose its ability to retain information. If that fixes your problem then you know its the card and not the camera. If it doesn't have then you know its the camera and not the card.
