I have had a red 40 out for 3 months probably over 6000 pictures and I think it was at 9 last I checked.

I would think you could easily get close to a year with a set of lithiums.

I have gotten over 6 months out of my MP6 with over 25,000 pics taken. I purchased a Red40 at the GTG and it is still going strong.

Upwards of a year. You can get them off their website, or through a dealer

I've had as many as 40K pics out of a set of batteries.

My old CA models last season I only changed batteries twice THE ENTIRE YEAR. Now the new MPE5, MP6s and MP6blacks (oh also the Red40) all seem to get great life out of batteries. We hung cams around February and have yet to replace batteries (that's on 2 or 3 shot burst with a 30sec-1min time lapse depending on spot).

My one Red40 has been running since February of this year and still shows 9 battery level. I would guess around 8000 pics so far.

I have a Moultrie D55IRXT, which takes c batts. I put in a new set of good batteries(duracell, energizer) in the spring and then another set just before the season, Sept or Oct. I use the video setting all the time though, so I probably don't get the same longevity as if I had the camera set just for pics.
