Again I will say hitting default will fix it I apologize for the headache I do recommend formatting the sd card everytime you put it in the camera and not switching cards with other brands of cameras Thank you for your patience I would bet it won't need to be sent in.
I had a similar problem. I ended up sending in. They tried a new SD card! and it works, I never though to try another SD card. Maybe you can try that. Good luck
