Covert Special Ops Code Black

Does anyone have any experience using the cellular hookup to text you your trailcamera pictures and what do you think in general of the setup? Battery Life, Lag, Value?

 

There are a couple on here who use them and everything I've heard has been good. This is something I must get one of these days as our property I want to use it on is 6 1/2 hours away. Sooner or later.....

 

The 2014 Code Black with the Covert Solar panel and a set of rechargeable batteries. You shouldn't ever have to go to the camera.

 

Thanks guys how about info on the service plans you use to send the text messages with the pics? Do you have a plan with texting only? Does the camera come with a SIM card?

Most don't give a sim card. You will need to deal with your provider. Good luck

 

You would need to go to an AT&T dealer and get a plan (if you don't already have AT&T) . I think its something like $10/month for 1000 pics or $20/month for unlimited.

You will get the sim card from the dealer and tell them your plan is text only with the above mentioned prices.

And I'm speaking for the covert spec ops, not sure on any others.

So if I have Verizon for my phone now I would have to get another phone that uses AT&T for service? Im confused.
