Every spring I get a litter of baby foxes playing in the back yard, not this year. :( I was wanting to get many pics of the events of the little boogers this year.

Checked my cams this morning in the back yard to find one dead baby fox and one hanging on for dear life.

I had a pic of a fox pealing off with one of the babies and momma searching just minutes afterward.

I've got the one that's barely alive in the house now trying to keep him alive. It rained most of the night so he's soaked and cold. He did take in a little milk from a restaurant style ketchup bottle.

Here's one of them sneaking out of the den while momma was gone.

Lot of thoughts going through my mind on this one. I know you did what you thought was right and nobody was there in your shoes. I would never fault anyone for trying to help and protect wildlife when they need it. I just wonder if that was what was really happening. Very curious situation. Hope it all turns out well.
