Me and my buddy Ken (Donut as y'all know him on this site) have assembled quite a collection of cameras between him and my dad. We've been scouting and moving cameras at the various pieces of property our hunt club leases. We were getting pics of a nice mature six on a power line semi consistently. This past summer we set up a stand over there and I went to hunt it opening day of blackpowder but someone was all ready in there (first come first serve since it's all leased land). Well I went in the following evening and saw a doe and right at the end of the day this guy showed up. Not the six we were hunting but quite the upgrade. It is a very respectable rack for around here but body wise this deer is one of the biggest we've killed in a while at our club (197 pounds). Our amateur scoring skills put him at 128ish. Lucky for both of us he didn't run too far because he was a beast to drag to the truck! Biggest deer I've taken and he is going on the wall. Thanks for the help Ken!
Heck of a buck and thank you for not holding it 4 foot in front of you. Post a pic of the big 6 you mentioned
Picture doesnt do that deer justice. Was a very pretty deer, not overly wide but good mass and super tall. The 6 pt he is referring to is a base 6 with a few funny point at one of the bases. This is the only daytime pic we have of him.
