    is there a difference between the HD 40 and the extreme red 40?
    Same camera?
    I looked at the covert web site it only lists 1?
    I looked at Amazon and eBay there selling them listed as the red and HD?

    I asked that exact question a couple weeks ago. Same cam, I just got the new one two days ago. They just changed the door latches a little. I love the Red 40, I've got three now.

    Same camera /case physically but the hd40 is better then the 2013/14 model year. It has a faster trigger speed,better battery life and the first day pic being dark is toned down.
