I am looking at getting a new trail cam sometime within the next month, and I was wondering what everyone thinks of these two cameras. I would also like to know what are the differences between the two. also what do you like about them? What do you dislike about them? How do their picture qualities compare? I'm looking to get as much feedback as possible, so don't be shy!

    Thanks in advance

There isn't really much to compare with these two cameras as they are practically brothers to one another. It basically comes down to weather you're worried about the IR spooking game or not. If you're worried about spooking game, get the Black 60, if not get the Red 40. The Red 40 takes slightly better night pictures.

I like everything about them and dislike nothing.:tu:

Myself, I like the red 40 a little better, but I dont have Black 60. I will tell you one thing for sure, you wont go wrong either one! I have never been a fan of the IR cams, (just didnt really care for the black and white night pics) but with he Red 40, I have come to love them.

I personally don't think it makes much difference in the flash color, with one exception. If you're going to be running the camera in the video mode, then I would go with the black. The longer the flash is activated, as it is when you use it in video mode, the more the flash is noticed. Otherwise I think the red 40 pics are better.

What kind of settings do the cameras have, and how user friendly are they?

The red40 is set up damn near like a digital camera, its gotta real easy to read/use display an a pic viewer.

Never got to play with a black60 yet, but im sure its just as easy.
