Yep, this one is pretty cool. Heard it on XM the other day. I thought it was pretty catchy.

Get your gangsta butt outta here..... :d

I love most of Jamey Johnsons music, he is bringing true country back and he isn't going to sellout and turn into another Kenny Chesney who sings about sitting in a lawn chair on a beach sipping his margaritta:evil:

You mean his old blue chair.....the one, thousands upon thousands of fans paid for.

Doesn't he own an island yet?

I used to like Kenny. Can't really get into him anymore.

I hear ya, I actually saw him in concert last year with Sugarland and Pat Green. It wasn't bad (Jennifer Nettles made the concert  ) but it wasn't worth the money. Same old songs and not alot of energy. I saw Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean last year as well and that concert was awsome.... then again, Miranda Lambert is friggin hot  :d

Jason Aldean seems to be a decent concert to attend. I liked his first album better than his second though.

I hate to say it, but I actually went to a Martina McBride concert with my wife and family once. I was blown away by her voice. I mean, you know she sounds powerful on the radio, but it is pretty amazing to hear her in person.

Sounds pretty hefty gay, I know......

I totally agree Jeff, true country music was based on writing your own music about your life. Too many artists today are being commercialized, it drives me nuts. Nobody has their own voice anymore.

Aldean is a good show, I have saw him twice in concert, he always brings alot of energy to his shows. Miranda Lambert is a little firecracker, she knows how to get a crowd pumped up.

As far as Martina McBride goes... she has an amazing voice... definetly not gay. My best-friend took his ex to a Celine Dion concert.... now thats pretty damn gay... and whats worse is he said that she put on a better show then Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Rascall Flatts, and Blake Shelton & Toby Keith (the other concerts he went to)

I like Jason Aldean a lot. However, for some reason I can't really develop a liking to female country singers... I just find most of their music annoying and end up changing the radio station. I've got a song that a friend of mine showed me a while ago that is pretty good and catchy, but I have a feeling you'll either love it or hate it.
Old Crow Medicine Show-- Wagon Wheel. Look it up.

No offense bud...but Jennifer Nettles just turns my stomach!! I can't stand to listen to her sing and to watch her try to shake her butt almost makes me vomit!!

But thanks for that song of the day. My IPOD is full and now I am going to have to get rid of something else to squeeze him on there!!

Finally somebody that agrees with me on that. The first I remember hating her so much was when she performed with Bon Jovi...I think. At some event...I almost went and vomitted. I made the comment that she needs to take stripper dance classes!

    HAHAHA you guys are funny.
But seriously I agree... Nettles/sugarland is such garbage. Kenny Chesney started decent but those days are long gone. Most modern/ big label country sucks, or is not nearly as good as most indie stuff.
Jamey Johnson is the MAN though.

Wow, can't believe that I didn't see this thread sooner. Have to agree with alot of what I have read.

Always have had a hard time listening to women country singers. I have seen pretty much all the singers mentioned so far and the range of talent and music styles is so spread in country that it is hard to enjoy it all.

Jamey definetly rocks right now. The voice is great and the songs he sings are perfect for him. I just hope that he sticks around for a long time for us all to enjoy. I am still a big fan of Montgomery Gentry. I don't think they have changed to much from the early years. And Aldean is probably my favorite right now.

Thanks to you guys on here I am now hooked on Texas country. I've been downloading it like a crack head lately. I don't like a lot of the mainstream "sellout" country any more like Kenny, Tobe, and Trace.
