Is anyone else counting Antelope in their sleep at night? I talked to Doug today. He said the hunting has been a little slow at the water holes. The weather has been cool and they are only watering once a day. Everyone has still killed a goat, just takes more time in the blind. I checked the long range forcast and it's supposed to be 85* Saturday and 83* Sunday then really cool off. So we might have a good opening day. I can't wait!!
They weren't all P&Y, I thought so but was corrected. It's never a guarantee but I do have a form picked out. :D I will have a ton of footage as well as pictures upon our return. It's going to be, dare I say....wait for it......EPIC!
There will certainly be plenty of those, and footage. As I told John on the phone tonight, I'm hoping....hoping I tag out early enough to spend time filming the others. There should be plenty of footage regardless. John, great talking with you tonight. Very much looking forward to this hunt and the meet and greet. Hell, I'm yet to shake Greg's hand as many times as we've talked. My flight arrives in Gillette 1:20....just look for the good looking archer. :D
Greg and I will be right behind you at 1:54, grab my bags while your waiting on yours will ya. This should get the season off to a great start! We will be hunting goats Sept. 5th thru the 7th.
You guys just remember to take plenty of pictures so ya'll can share the trip with those of us that won't be there..... Good luck you guys!! Sounds like ya'll are gonna have a great time!
Monumental, yeah that's it, that's it. And LOL at Greg, there's always over the counter doe tags and video cameras. :D
