Could you throw away all of your racks/mounts/hunting pictures and be ok with it?

I sure could use a set of sheds for rattling antlers! :) Seriously.

I could take ALL my hunting trophies and toss them out...and I wouldn't miss a thing.

There is no way! I have 2 hunting memorys on the wall. My first buck, and my first turkey. Thats all I got. Ive made so many memorys already that ended without a tophy at the end of the day. Its all about when you didn't kiill something. But I don't mind looking at Freak Daddy on the wall every once in a while.:D

Same here. I thought about thinning our shed pile to make room but Tyler vetoed that idea and gave me hell for even considering it.

I find this post funny. Back in the day, when hunting was good, we didn't take a camera with us. If someone had a camera at the check in, you were lucky. We were huting for the fun and the meat. Antlers ddidn't mean chit back then.

Back in the day you were happy to kill a deer if you got lucky enough to see one. Hunting was very poor compared to now in my area. If it had antlers... that was icing on the cake. We didn't take many pictures. Weight was more important then a rack back then. To this day most of the big buck contests in my area still go by weight and not the size of the rack.

Times have changed but I am still hunting for the fun, meat and big rack. I take a lot more pictures. I shot more does then bucks and really enjoy that too.
