I am thing about going hunting at the Woodbury state wilderness area. Wondering if anyone has ever hunted there? Is there alot of pressure? Traveling 5 hours from Michigan wondering if it is worth the drive? If the are many 140" bucks there?
There is tremendous pressure there, it is probably one of if not the most hunted public land in Ohio. There are 140 inch bucks there. I would keep driving South and hunt the Wayne National Forest.
well theres def deer around and it depends on the area how the hunting pressure is!! and if you are planning on a gun hunt theres gona be hunters all over the place i never hunted there in the bow season so i cant say how it is but im sure that theres allot of bow hunters there to!.. .. I wouldnt know if theres any big bucks in the area but its Ohio and in a good location so there are probally a few around!! a few year back an amish kid shot a huge buck on woodbury land in the youth season dont have any pictures of it but it was a big one!
I wouldn't hunt down here in ohio. All we have is small buck and little doe. I have never hunted there but i did good in the wayne when i was younger.
