corn's coming down in Illinois!

    Woohoo! Should be good to go when I get there October 31st.

    They've been cutting like crazy around here. Our farm was cut August 31st.

    I drove back home to Chicago from S.Illinois this morning, all the way up I57 there were combines rolling & a lot of fields already cut.

    I am torn on the early harvesting. Glad for the farmers whose fields are ready but I'd prefer some cornfields to remain standing at least into the last of October/early November.

    I saw the first combine rollin' this morning. I'm right across the river from ya.

    they are taking it down in New York (western, Buffalo) also!!! it really hurt last year that it was up so long. way less sightings.
