Do you guys think a pile of corn will scare a weary buck away? Just curious of your all's opinions.

    It might... It might not...

Too many factors for me to give a good answer. Kind of like the flash of a camera, bothers some deer but not others.

What I've notice is that a mature buck will likely come at night to feed. Now the situation changes if he's trailing a hot doe and she decides to get something to eat. Theory I like about corn piles is that you generally keep most of the does in your area and when the rut comes on you've got most of the ladies near your stand when the old rouge gets "ancy"... Of course there are exceptions to every rule. I know hunters who have killed big bucks on corn in the middle of the day by himself.
