If you just want a temporary fix, a piece of rubber and a hose clamp will hold a pin hole for a while.
Just a quick and dirty way to keep it going for a few days/week until you can fix it right.

HERE WE go on Round 2. Another leak just sprung on the same pipe that was fixed. FRICK! Now I have to go test out my skills, or lack thereof. I cannot believe my luck this month. I want to jump off the roof of my house head first.

The way your luck has been going....you may fall through before you're able to jump off. :D

Just kiddin' ya....I feel for you, Brett. I can't believe you're having ALL this trouble in such a short amount of time. Maybe you should give Mike Holmes a call.

Finch, I am about ready to burst. To top this all off, I had $1,200 worth of aluminum siding rip off my garage about 10 days ago, in a wind storm. I am now going to have to read a book or something on how to replace the siding because I don't want to pay someone to fix it. This has been the month from hell.

Thats tough man! Good luck and you and I are alot alike. I'd rather do something myself than pay someone to do it for me. BUT sometimes doing it yourself can bite you in the ass. :D

Very true Finch...I have to weigh the risk/rewards. I truly believe I can fix the pipe tomorrow morning and the aluminum siding. I just need to take my time.

Well at least I was able to fix the pipe that burst last night. Thank god my friend showed me how to do it the day before. It only cost me $20 doing it myself.
