I still have not made a decision on a new sight. Has anyone here seen or tried the new WidowMaker from Copper John? I like the things I've read about it especially being able to replace pins/fiber optics quickly in the field. Also there fiber optics are "suppose" to be VERY strong, plus the price is about as much as I want to spend (around the $120 range). I have not seen one in person so I don't know how bright the pins are? Have any of you used CJ sights in the past or use them now? Just wondering how durable they are and how well made they are?

I still have Copper John Dead nutz site that has been great. Very durable well made sight. Pins werent the brightest but had no problems unless it was close to the end of shooting time. I did pick up a light for it but have never had to use it. Not the most adjustable sight on the market but it was plenty good enough for hunting which is all I do. You will have no worries in the durablity dept.

Thanks for the info. By chance have you seen any of the new sights from CJ?? They appear to have a "wrap" that looks similar to the Spot Hoggs? They also claim to be very adjustable now. In the first part of Aug. I am hoping to be within about 45min. from a BPS and maybe I can stop in and get a good look at a few of the sights that are are my list. Right now the nearest BPS is about 3 hours away and nobody around here carries the higher priced sights($100.00 and up). I have also thought about the Real Deal or Right On. Does your SH have the wrap, have you ever had any problems, and are you satisfied with the brightness? Thanks

First year moving to the Hogg, well built sight. Pins again not the brightest if money was not a issue I would have the wrap I hear it makes a big difference. But The wrap is expensive I chose again to pick up a SH adjustable light in case I ever feel I may need it for a third of the price of a wrap. Here I posted a quick review.

Ive been shooting the cj "dead nuts" for about 3 years now. Its a no frills type of sight which that is what I wanted on my hunting rig. Ive never had a problem with it. When it comes down to hunting equipment in my opinion simple is safer. You probably already know that if something is going to break its going to break at the wrong time.
