And a eagle from down by the river.. Hope you guys aren't bored with all the raptor pics.. I haven't seen anything else worth shooting - maybe I'll have to sit out by the birdfeeder...

    Thanks a lot guys.
SevenMag - I shoot a Nikon D300 and usually have my Nikon 200-400 f/4 VR lens on for most wildlife shots. This series I also had on a 1.4x Nikon Teleconverter. I also have a 70-200 f/2.8 VR lens that is a great lens too for closer subjects. And then I have a 50mm f/1.4 Nikon that I just got this past fall- most of my pics when I'm out hunting with my hawk are taken with that lens. It's a lot smaller than the others. And then I use PhotoShop CS4 for my editing program. (I still need a lot of practice with this...lol...)
Hope this helps. Shoot me a PM if you got any detailed questions , I'd be more than happy to help anyone out if I can.
    Take care
    Dave

I always love the raptor pictures or any pictures you take. I've bored everyone I know when they come around showing them your hawk pictures and videos. LOL Everyone is impressed.
