So my brother is getting married in September. I need to find him a gift which will most likely be a gun. For my wedding he gave me a Kimber Custom II. I don't really want to give him an identical gun but I'm struggling to find something in the same price range ($1,000 ish) that is unique. So I thought I would give everyone here a try. What is the coolest/most unique outdoorsy wedding gift you have received? Or a gun option in the same range?

What kind of hunting does he do that he may use a gun. No use buying a gun he may not shoot or not use.

Better idea.... Get two identical pistols and then you have one for him and you. You can play the symbolic link nonsense but in reality you get a new gun!

Lots of cool guns in the AR platform below that price. You can get him an AR that he can customize along the way. It's a grown mans Barbie.

    If he's a bird hunter a nice o/u 12 ga.

Mostly whitetail with a moose or similar biggame hunt every couple years. He has started getting into some upland hunting.

He has a couple ARs. I like the o/u 12 idea.
