The name brand talk is cheap, we all shoot name brand bows that are very costly and our bows are equipped with even more overpriced gear.

If you want something quality you have to pay hands down! I will have my Yeti until the end of time unless a frag takes it out.

After testing the Ozark Rambler vs the Yeti Rambler I have little faith in Yeti and feel you are simply paying for a name. All 4 of the $9 Ozarks held ice just as well, if not better than the $40 Yeti. Coolers may be different... But I'm not going to be buying a cooler that is $300+.

    Simply not enough use.

I don't always keep my beer in a cooler but when I do the beer is long gone before the ice melts.

One common denominator is that for the most part people that buy higher end cooler feel it's money well spent when the consider the Longevity and performance vs the price.
My time is money and there is value in a product that basically never needs replacing. The same can not be said about cheaper junk coolers I have gone through in my life.

Little Johnny if I was trying to impress you I would have a fleet of Reconyx, not some of these old Moultries that no one likes. :tu:

I think this all depends on your hunting style. If you are off the grid for a week and have to keep meat cold, I'd say the more expensive coolers are worth the investment. Currently I only have a 2 hour drive to keep meat cold from freezer to freezer. I don't have to justify spending $500 for a cooler. Now if I were hunting out of state and had a 2 or 3 day drive, the more costly coolers may be justified. Get the best you can afford.

If you were trying to impress me, your efforts were in vain. But I'm sure name calling will help your self-esteem since that's all you've offered to this thread. I haven't been called "little" since 3rd grade.

I have had my yeti for a couple of years now... it definitely holds ice over long weekend trips better than the cheaper brands... weather it be for fishing trips, my daughter's softball tournaments, etc.... I don't think it is as good as advertised, but I did go through the cheap coolers frequently prior... this thing will certainly last forever... I probably will never need to get another cooler, that's for sure...
    I don't think worth the $$$ though...
