cool things to do with batteries

    So when I saw this I had to try all of them and they all work..

    start a fire..

    I have done the steel wool with the 9v, I would rather have a bic lighter.

    That is some redneck welding right there, do you use a coat hanger for welding rod?

    I did the steel wool one a while back. It flared up much quicker than I would have thought. I am much more careful with my 9Vs at home. I make sure that the terminal protector is on each one. I didn't realize though that there was also a danger with the AAs.

    I have a bug in bag, if it all goes to crap I will empty out the liquior store in town and hunker in place at home.

    tried it in a shop a buddy of mine owns we used a thin welding rod, never thought to try a coat hanger..

    They use batteries and thin foil in jails to make fire. I do know that much.
