I was going through some of the things that I have stored away from deer seasons past, and came across this 2006 Pa Antlerless Deer Permit, that is one of the old cardboard licenses, which I really miss. I kept this one especially, because of the number on it. I figured the odds of getting that number were pretty slim, considering the number of permits issued.
I thought it would be neat to see what mementos other folks might have of days gone by.

no pics of it yet, but this year I started a 'tag soup' wall in my camper. I've always just thrown my unused tags in my home office desk drawer. Well, anyway, this year my dad came up to family deer camp for the first time in like 7 seasons, and as I was going through his bin to get his stuff washed and ready, I found 3 seasons' worth of unused tags of his and I got the idea that I wanted to keep them for the memories...so the Great Wall of Tag Soup was born. Probably going to tweak it a bit and try to print a couple pics from each season and put them alongside, best as I can. We're typical men and have always been really bad about taking pics.
