I've watched more NBA games this year then I have in a long time, and I've enjoyed it.

    NY.....

From 1992 - 1995, I had tickets (not mine, but access) to nearly every home Charlotte Hornets game (I was a teaching Professional @ Quail Hollow CC). My best friend and I probably went to over 100 games, during that time. He PLAYED college basketball......and he hated the NBA game.

    Why did we go?....lol

Well....we were both single....and it was a pretty good "date" oppportunity, when you could call a girl and tell 'em you were either in the front 2 rows.....or you had a luxury box.

I did see Barkley hit 55 or so, one night. And, the best performance I ever saw was Chris Mullin desecrate the Hornets, one night (for nearly 60).

Honestly....in all those games.....those are the only two that stand out.

My 1 cent worth (because it's not worth 2) is that the NBA is right there with Nascar. And no, that's not a compliment.

Then it's just like what I said to GMMAT, a difference in opinions. Like I said, I enjoy the NBA because I see things that the casual fan does not, which may lead them to believe the game is dry or boring. But sure, the average fan can be entertained and enjoy watching an NBA.. it's just all about personal perception and interpretation.

Again, just difference in opinions. :)

    I have a thought....
Why don't they only pay the team that wins the game. I believe this would pick up the pace of the game and make the players put a little more effort into it.

Lol ya know what that's a hell of an idea. Obviously never happen, but I imagine the competition and energy level would change pretty quick.
