Contender for "toughest buck of the year"?

Don't know the story. Just saw it and thought it was interesting.

 

I received this in an email the other day and it looks real to me.Others said it had to be fake but like I said,looks real to me.

If it is real,it sure shows the toughness of these animals.

 

I know you here this saying, and it's cliche as hell, but I'd like to see the other buck that did that (not saying this buck is a slouch by any means). There's no way that's a main beam, had to be a big kicker or a drop or something.

After looking at this picture more, I just can't get a grasp on what in the world is going on with this buck. It just looks odd, especially where it comes into his eye, or near it I should say.

 

Looks like the pedicle is still attached ?

 

It is supposed to be the main beam pulled right out of the other bucks head.It is supposed to be the pedical on the other end.

 

It's real, but it's not from a fight. The antler grew out of the bucks eye. It's an old story.

 

Ditto, that's what I've heard about it.

 

+1, There was an article in one of the magazines I had a few years ago about this buck, he was a FREAK, but one thing about him, he wouldn't see nearly as well as all the other bucks in the woods....:D
