I was gone for 3 days and a lot of great deer hit the ground for BH.com members. Instead of replying to them all, (because there are a lot them!) just thought I would say congrats to everyone that found success over the weekend. Well done hunters!
Well, Friday morning pretty much summed up my season so far. I had what would have been my best buck ever, coming right to the stand, when a dog chased it off. Yup, its been that kind of season. Still having fun though...I think.
Yeah ... congrats to everyone this weekend. I love this time of year. Bucks start falling at an alarming rate. Awesome stuff.
haha i hear ya on that one but only thing you can do is keep your head up and keep hunting you will get your shot again
yes congrats to everyone, I knew it was going to be a successful weekend for alot of hunters. I personally had alot of action, I passed up on a great 11 pointer friday morning at about 9:15, pushing at least 150." Any other day I would have shot him but since I have one in the 160's already I'm trying to hold out for Mr. T a typical booner that ventures the area. I figured I would give that buck a free pass plus he had a broken G-2 on the left side. I'm still grinding my teeth over it but there are some more great days of hunting in the week ahead.
I agree with ya on to many to reply to. So in case I missed ya congrats on a successful weekend! Oh and thanks for giving me buck fever! All I had to do is look at the pictures and I started to get the shakes and hard breathing
