New member from Virginia here, just getting seriously back into to bow hunting after a long hiatus. After shooting several friends bows I set out looking for a used Mathews Switchback, ended up with a 2009 Mathews S2 which I love. Was really surprised at just how quick everything came back to me and my group sizes quickly got smaller and smaller. My used package came with a few Beman ICS hunter arrows with NAP twister vanes. After searching for recommendations on arrows I decided on getting some 29.5 inch Gold Tip XT hunter 7595 but was really confused about all the fletching options. I shoot a right handed bow (draw with right hand) with a 29 inch draw at about 66 lbs and use a whisker biscuit rest. I will probably stick with 2 inch vanes but even there the choices include blazers or VaneTec Max HP. Then you get to orientation, straight, left, right, or helical. I understand the helical is not the best option for these short vanes, but what about left or right offset and degree of off set. I would love to hear some opinions about what be best out of my set up, and where to purchase arrows. Thanks, Bart
