So I'm tuning up my new Mathews Chill. It's maxed on weight with 70 limbs, with a 27.5 DL. I'm shooting Maxima Blue Streak 350's with a 100 grain FP. I have it paper tuned shooting bullets at 3, 5 and 10 feet and bare shaft tuned it to <1 inch at 20 yards. The arrow looks to be flying straight and it's dead accurate. The only problem is my QAD rest looks to be very far to the left. The side of my arrow sits flush with the line between the shelf and the rubber part where the Focus grip starts. If I nock an arrow and look from the top of my bow, my arrow sits about a half inch off the center of my stabilizer! Is this just where the center shot is on these bows or am I goofing? The tuning results say it's dead on but it just doesn't look right... And if it's wrong, and I move the rest in, what could be making it rip right so bad while paper tuning?

I put a QUA HDX on my zxt a while back and it looked exactly like what your describing. I took it to the shop that usually sets up my bow and they straightened it out and paper tuned it again.

Not saying that's what you need but having the same issue I'd like to know some other opinions too.

Jrk_indle84, did they get it shooting right for you after moving it? charness0001, I checked the gams and my arrow is about 1/8" riser side at nock point and cams appear to be timed correctly. I'm new to the tuning thing so I'm more confident that I did something wrong than i am the bow being broken. Lol At this point anyway...

Yea they got it shooting good. They pretty much retuned my bow, on paper anyway. I didn't go as far into as you did but I was able to get it sighted in and everything seems good now.

I was just kinda like you and after shooting it a few times when first got rest on noticed the arrow looked pretty crooked and took it to another shop I trust more.

How do the cams look? Are they straight verticle or do they lean?

Got it tuned up and ran it through the chrono. 301 FPS with 374 total grain arrow which puts my kinetic energy at 75.26 foot lbs! I can definitely work with that.

No issue. A mathews tech told me the center of the arrow should be about 13/16 from the riser at the Berger hole. I measured it and it's dead on. It just looked too far away from the riser to me!
