We have been watching the cable program “The Best Defense” for a couple of years now, off and on. Recently, for the obvious reasons, we have been watching the program with more regularity. Last night, my wife said to me “I need a fixed blade concealed carry knife, too.” I know this is off the normal subject material but I respect you folks’ opinions. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oh no, she has a five shot .44 Special (with my own, hand crafted ammunition) and Cold Steel’s Inferno pepper spray. But hey, if she wants another backup to the back up, who am I to argue? Throughout my life I have been called a “Belt and Suspenders Guy” (I actually do wear a belt and suspenders.) because I am a firm believer in the maxim: If some is good and more is better, too much must be just right. I think a little of that has rubbed off on her.

I love my Cold steel ti-lite, if you want a carry knife check them out, the way they open makes them lightning fast to open and the locking mechanism is very strong. my friend turned me on to them, he said " hold out your arm" so i did and he put his knife against my arm and shaved a clean two inch strip of armhair off in one effortless swipe like a cutthroat razor the blade has a tab on the back of it that is made to catch the top of your pocket and opens itself, it is literaly faster than a switchblade. in sted of having to pull and then hit the button just the action of pulling the ti-lite out opens it.
