Anybody use a conceal carry fanny pack to conceal your firearm? I'm intrigued...

Yep. Kinda my take too. But I'm betting it's more than that.

Here in Illinoiz, we can't carry concealed but you can carry an unload weapon in a fanny pack. That's how I keep the beretta, slide back, magazine to the side. It takes just a second to put the magazine in and drop the slide...

However, you'd look gay with a fanny pack. So there. :D

Just stick it in the front, but make sure you don't go out half cocked. :bash:

    Can I say that here?:p

It patterns you almost immediately to the fact you are carrying.

When I was out of the Marines for a spell and owned a business, it was one of my best ways to carry since it didn't require me to wear an inside the belt or side holster around the store and possible have a pistol pop out as I was helping someone and I could keep keys and such in the front zipper as well as an extra 7 round mag of Black Talons or Hyrda Shocks.

I had a decent one, think it was a DeSantis but cannot remember the brand, didn't look too gay (I wore it in the front)...not too many folks would have the stones to tell me I look gay.

I carry in a Galco or DeSantis inside the belt holster, but also have a Blackhawk nylon side carry holster.

The Crossbreed holsters have me intrigued enough to possibly try one, lifetime warranty and two week return policy.

What the marine said. ;) As far as pegging you immediately as carrying...

Obviously, everyone's right with the gay comment, too. :D

What it signals to me is that you may need a smaller-framed pistol if you're looking at that option as a viable carry piece. Food for thought... :)

I could NEVER do the fanny pack thing!

Inside the belt or small of the back all the way! Never tried an ankle setup but I believe my Kimber 1911 is a little big for that.

Does the fanny pack come with a complimentary pocket protector?
