My computer is running like crap! I have Norton 360 for protection. What can I do to get this thing running faster? I think I have some Spyware problems among others. Norton keeps stopping some Trojan too. Any links to actual FREE downloads to get this thing going? Thanks

AVG Free 8.5- Google It and find the free AVG link. It's what I use, haven't had hardly any problems. I also have Spybot Search and Destroy, that's free also and It keeps the Spyware off of your computer.

I agree with Schultzy on AVG Free 8.5...download this and you can get rid of Norton all together....Also i have no experience with Spybot and i would guess it works just fine..I've been using SuperAntiSpyWare and it works great..no spywear problems whatsoever....and it is free also...

X2 on Spybot. Adaware is also a good free detection/removal utility. I use AVG, and it has a decent detection rate. It's not free but Kaspersky is hard to beat.

I totally agree and also I'd throw in ad-aware. My PC would have major STDs if it wasn't for AVG, Spybot, and Ad-aware. :deer: :d

Click the light blue download square on the right side of your screen.
Once you install it, run the program the click update so your virus definitions
    are current.
