every time i go to a new page on bowhunting.com it will load the page but not let me scroll down to look or click on anything but my mouse still moves then at the bottom it pops up a message that says bowhunting.com has stoped working due to a long running script. what??? then you can hit the stop script button and you can scroll and click whatever untill you load a new page and it does it again. its really annoying... and help?

I've noticed the site as been acting up on my phone too. So who knows maybe they're making some updates or something. Thought seen something week or so ago said they were fixing some stuff.

Does the same for me, so I figure there is a bug with the site and not your computer

Check Java, and I just dumped Internet Explorer because it was always so damn buggy. I've never had issues running Safari or Google Chrome on the site. IE would go crazy once every couple weeks.

Is this only on the forums, or on the main page of bowhunting.com?

I had the same problem with IE at work, but not Chrome at home/on phone. And it was only on the forums.

I've tested in all recent versions of IE without a problem. The only time I start having issues is when I go all the way back to IE7, in which case that's not our problem. :D

Large corporation I assume? Corporate IT guys are the worst for both browser and OS upgrades. Lots of big companies still running XP and IE7 out there. Technology moves on - they don't.

Justin, it does it only on the forums for me, and only on your site here. I've checked others (gasp) that I visit, and they are all okay. I know it's not my computer, because this unit is up to date, and it was doing the same thing for me from my work computer on Wednesday. There's a glitch somewhere !!!

I get a 'Bowhunting.com is not responding due to a long running script.' (or something like that) I have to click 'stop script' to get the page to scroll down. I'm not using IE 7.

We just recently updated to Office 2010. But yes, large corporation, but new IT management. I'm good friends with the new IT general supervisor
