    Anyone attending???

Were making the day trip in the morning. I've never been to this event, looking forward to it big time. They had some big, big storms roll thru last night that blew down the big tent but its being put back up now and everything is a go!

We were at the range last night and started talking about it and one guy said lets just go for Saturday, I said OK, my buddy other buddy checked with his Boss(wife) she Ok'd him to go. So Dom, myself and my 2 other buddies are on our way about 4:30am and arriving there about 8:00. You know whats cool is that I met these guys last year at the range just shooting our bows. I was the only one shooting a Longbow last year, they all shot Compounds! Put it this way out of the 6 guys that we shoot with everyday at the park, only 2 shoot compounds this year and the other 4 all own Recurves and Longbows and are headed to Compton's with me! Pretty cool!

Jeff, Not to sure what a coon shoot is but now that you brought it up I'm hoping they have one! I will have camera in tow!

    Jeff,
You should've tried the candlestick challenge on First Shot of the Day on Trad Gang, now that was a hoot. Are you doing the Coon Shoots at ATAR?

Well what a bummer, STORMS rolled thru again last night into the morning with I-94 freeways closed down along the way because of deep water. Tough call but we decided at 4:30AM not to go because of the 200 mile drive each way, getting there early in the AM with vendors not fully set back up and having to come back home in the afternoon. The window was just too small. They got hammered with rain again all night into the AM, same storms we got here, about 7+ inches of rain in 24 hours. Serious flooding everywhere. We are definitely bummed out but you know what they say, Mother Natures a *****!

Dom and I made the best of it and went to the Polish Festival we go to every year, all day Saturday, non stop Polka music, awesome good time!

    Sunday..... 20 hour work day.....
