My biggest advice for buying a bow would be, shoot everything and forget about brand names. They don't matter. Some of the more popular ones are Hoyt, Mathews, Elite, Bear, PSE, Parker, Bowtech, and Prime. Second, if you are growing, make sure you buy a very adjustable bow that will last until you are done growing. Lastly, do your best to learn the proper form. It will be better for you to learn it earlier in your shooting because, once you have good form you are consistent, so you will be truly sighted in.

Good luck picking out your bow, and hope you learn a lot of new stuff. Remember there is always something new to learn and try.
