ive wondered here lately, is their a very big diffrence in yardage from the bottom of a tree than when your 20 foot up a tree? i have a rangefinder that is supposed to compensate the yardages for me. 90% of the stands i hunt are about 20 feet up. say a deer is 25 yards out do you guys aim for 25 yards or do you have to compensate for being 20 feet up? sorry i may have made that hard to understand but im just wondering everyones opinion on this?

At 25 yards 20 ft up you're non compensating rangefinder would read 25.87ish yards. So no, treestand hunting is not what these were really intended for. These are for peaking over bluffs getting a reading of 50 yards but really only needing to hold your 20 yard pin on them.
